WTH is wrong with people in this country!!

A buddy and I were out riding yesterday when two dip****s in a car tried to pass us using the turn lane for a business. I guess they didn't realize that they were over in a turn lane that ended with a curb in the middle and tried to jump back into our lane almost running us over. They slam on their brakes and get behind us and about a quarter of a mile later they pass us on the right side shoulder in the grass. We were running 50mph in a 45mph zone on a two lane hwy, so it wasn't like we were holding up traffic.
We get to a stop light and my buddy rolls up next to the car and yells at the two dumbasses about almost killing us, and this little motherf*^%er rolles his window down, looks at him then me and says " **** you crackers! Our president is in the white house and we run this **** now". Before either one of us could react they sped off running through the red light. What the hell is wrong with people these days. This country seems to be going down the toilet.
 
Sometimes...correction "all the time" (forgive). Move on it's not worth it now a days. That could be someone that just killed their entire family and was on a rampage and you pull up next to him bitching. The correct thing to do was to pull over or slow down let them go by you.
They would have been in your world for a few seconds and gone in front of you not to bother you again. You're on a bike and kind of in the immediate danger. He could just say screw you and run over you. It's not like when we we were kids people today will kill you. Be the smarter of the group on the road and let it go, not worth the stress it gives you.
Just my $.02 be safe brother, think smart, think ahead, go home to your family and live another day. oh yeah, and I'm not a little chihuahua either. 6'2 265 lbs been there done that...
Those days of whippin ass and then move on are over...now they bring guns. Game over.
 
Those were the future leaders of the world.. This current generation is a valid argument for chemical castration... IMO... Can't fix stupid... But you can get your ass shot by it

Pretty hard to argue with this logic......especially in hindsight:rolleyes:

On the other hand simply "Letting it go and turning the other cheek" seems to be a big part of why we have become such a PC society and why the vocal minority is imposing their views on so many who do not agree...............my .02

Now back to talking about Street Glides :D
 
Not doing anything to these little assholes was probably the hardest self control I have ever used. The best choice they ever made was not pulling over and getting out of the car. It's been a few days since it happened and it still pisses me off.

As hard as it is not to pull out my baseball bat, I believe in Karma...somehow, someday Karma's gonna knock the living crap outa those two and you won't have to spend a single day in lockup...thanks to Karma....

Never really gave much thought to the whole "karma" thing until I met my current girlfriend who not only made me a believer in it but taught this old salty dog a few other things along the way.
It's damn hard to find the restraint to not pull them out of their car and instill street justice..I know I've been there...but you just never know these days who's packing and what their mental capacity is.
Let em go they'll get theirs

In your above post You mentioned "mental capacity". I do believe that smarts are on the decline. Our nation has become a nation of lazy slugs grabbing all we can for free. If some folks don't get what they think they deserve then they will run all over other folks just to take what they want. It's hard working folks like the members of this forum who will not put up that Sh!t. We step back to avoid the legal costs of taking care of business but ohhhhhh how tempting to reach for cold steel. That justice has a tendency to make us worse than them. But oooooohhhhhh how tempting.
