I may be mistaken but I believe it is a module that you have to install either along side or onto the existing radio.

Thanks guys. $400 I'd rather spend on other ítems right now. Wonder if there is an afetrmarket kit out there.

I had XM on my 2011 I didnt think the sound came through as loud as the radio or my phone plugged into the aux. I wouldnt get another one. Ill stick to Pandora or just play music off my phone. Just my 2 cents
