I liked the screamin' eagle type graphic the seller had, so I ordered some of them......
The cool thing about this project is that it's completely removable. When I did remove them, a few years later, there was remnants of a "Ghost Flame" from sun fading the rest of the paint but the vinyl protected some areas and gave a very FAINT ghost flame effect. Trying to locate a pic of it.
I also played with the reflective pinstripe that was left over from the wheels.......... put that on the full-face helmet...... for greater visibility and safety.
While on the topic of visibility and safety............
I added some BLACK reflective stripe to the flat black tour pak.... which is virtually invisible in daylight .
Once again, cheap and removable. I added that BLACK reflective tape to the sides of the floor boards, mirror ends and the base of the windshield. Couldn't even see it in the daylight.
Always good to have some extra visibility..... I was busted up by a cager back in '88. She turned left onto me as we crossed an intersection at about 50 mph. Claimed she never saw me. Yeah, I like to be seen, now. Took many months to heal the numerous broken bones and injuries I sustained.
A borrowed (it was cold out) full-face helmet saved my life.... as my head hit the curb when I landed on the other side of the intersection. Only the face bar was intact .... top of helmet split from the front to the back.
