heated jacket

Got a new heated jacket. Harley recommends 7.5 amp fuse however a guy told me that he kept blowing fuses and put in a15 amp and has had no troubles since. He said that if you have a tender,gloves, and now a jacket it may cause a over load. The owners book said putting in a higher amp fuse could cause electrical troubles to the charging system. Any feed back would be great!

If it's that cold, that you need all that heated stuff to ride a bike, it's time to go ice fishing or ride a snowmobile imho

Its for my wife's bike smarty pants. We live in northern Wisconsin. I don't even own a pair of chaps.
