In defense of one or another...I'm sure I've pissed cagers off when I lane-split....and rev my engine...sometimes to get their attention...but oh well, they've pissed me off a time or two....thats just life and I move on...

But I know what you mean about rice rockets...now those guys really piss me off...they go zipping thru traffic like its nothing...they accelerate like a bat outa hell, and they always....always have way better looking chicks on the back than almost any Harley I've seen....sometimes makes me wanna get one...:rolleyes:

Please realize I'm on your side. I have driven over 2 million accident free miles in commercial and private vehicles and about 150k has been on a Harley. It's important to look at all sides of an issue. So it's natural for me not to cast aspersions but to try to see all sides in an attempt to diagnose a situation before it becomes a problem. Plus I love reading about cause and effect.
Now we have a discussion going and that is very positive

Lmao Bluesbelly.... Right on... Seriously I took most of your post tongue in cheek.. The Last Line is what I walked away with... There is more to the video than was presented.. There always is.
Questions that immediately cropped up for me..
Disclaimer.... We probably will never get answers.. Just opinions...
1. What happened prior to the hit? Was the Old guy just tooling along? Or had these reckless riders done the same STUPID,!! Move prior?
2. If stung by an insect was the bite documented?
3. We're the police called to the scene? Was the old guy field tested? We're the riders field(or hospital tested)
4. Passing on ANY ROAD over a double yellow ,multible vehicles is plain retarded and reckless. Rider deserved the hit IMO.
What was rider doing out there with invalid license ? Invalid? Suspended? No endorsement? What?

I could go on but won't. It's pointless to try to figure out points A,B,C when only D is presented .
Based on what I saw... Old guy was in the wrong. Accidental or on purpose I'll never know. My gut tells me on purpose... Bug sting is bull**** I suspect. Also suspect the riders were taunting and playing long before the wreak. But.. Lol ... All conjecture on my part...

As to taking offense at forum posts? I never do.. What I post is my opinion only. If I post something inaccurately oh well... I ether retract or let it stand.. My opinion is just that.. My opinion and no more valid than the next guys.I look at digital discussions as one sided.. Type...post....reply or not. I rarely take it personally unless the reply is just plain ignorant, malious or the dude is just an asshole looking for a pointless fight. Fortunately. I have let to experience that dude on this site.
Forums are a Fantasric venue for damn near instant information.but at the end of the day it's still a Digital Tennis Match.... Your Serve Folks...

Btw. A similar scenario happened to me twice this weekend.Both times involving 20 something career txters and fortunately I was able to stay whole. I did break my cardinal rule .... Promptly informed both girls at the next light they are assholes and to stupid to breed... So please dont

I am sensing some rice burner haters here.....remember guys we all ride 2 wheels and does it really matter which brand/type?....if your answer is YES then I don't have anything else to say.

I ride both rice burner (ZX12R) and cruiser (Street Glide), I have gone over insane speed on my rice burner but we always have to respect everyone on the road. We all pay tax to share these roads. I will tell you one thing if someone ran me off the road and I am still able to walk after I got hit that person better be moving. That's like someone taking a shot at me and I will not just sit there and get smoked.

Like someone said in another post, all it takes is let these bikers (doesn't matter rice burners or cruisers) go pass you and they are out of your way, you won't see them anymore and all your worries are over. What that guy did was not right, that's a human being and for him to jacked him up like that now he has to deal with all kinds of consequences.....not worth it at all. If he has beef with bikers, find where bikers hang out, be a tough guy and go there to express his anger.....I am sure they'll like to listen to what he has to say....LOL!!!!!
 
That's with every vehicles.....a little HP and people want to use it...nothing wrong with that but do it on the track.......totally agreed with your remark to the riders, like the saying about "gun kill people" B.S. Guns don't kill people people with guns kill people.....

I would do the same if I am the rider on that rice burner....I don't want to smell exhaust following those bikes.....LOL!

The second video is what I hate......there are tracks for doing stupid stunts like that.....ugh!!!!

Imo it doesn't matter what they did to piss the old guy off. What he did was the same thing as pointing a gun at them and pulling the trigger. That sob needs beat within an inch of his life!

I wish there was a way to give a "thumbs up" here....yea, so the biker was wrong for crossing a double yellow, he was wrong for not having more protective gear, he was wrong for getting too close to the car while he was passing...but none of that means a hill of beans to what that driver did....thats inexcusable.
