I have a confession.

Limited for when she wants to ride with me, and SGS for riding solo! Wife hated riding on the SGS so she let me have another one!

Very Sweet wife . . . 8)

A geezer glide is now parked where my '13 SG used to be.
Traded "Ginger Bell" yesterday for a leftover '15 Ultra Limited. We were looking for a better ride on our long hauls and a few more creature comforts. It seriously needs bars and an inch or so taken out of the seat. Also need floorboard spacers. Winter projects. Sorry to the hardcore gliders, but, my wife's back just couldn't take it anymore and it is a pretty sweet scooter.

Congrats Mike - enjoy your new ride ..... best of luck - safe travels!

Skeeter,
Tried the Reach seat. Just won't work out. It pushes me too far forward. I would have to modify it to work and if I do any modifying I might as well mod mine and keep the larger more comfy passenger area for my wife. Sorry, Bud and thank you for the idea and the effort. Safe travels!

No problem. Enjoy your new ride!

whotahey.......it's still two wheels, and if it doesn't work out........BLAME IT ON THE WIFE. Y'all ride safe and enjoy.

Thank God. Don't like to rile the masses.
Lets just make believe it's a Fancy Street Glide.

Thanks, Tom

Well at least it's not a Roadglide. LOL. Meancitycycles can take care if those seat issues and add some padding for the wife. When you headed back down this way? I will let yah check out my seat. You doing the slimy crud this Sunday?

Damn near bought the RG Ultra. Lol. The '15 incentives was a huge game changer over the '16 RGU. Will still be getting down your way at some point. Just been crammed with something every weekend. I'll holler but it may spur of the moment if when I can. I know you're just down the road. I've had Mean City do 3 seats for me. All were great. The last one I did myself, a Sundowner, and it came out great.
You got me on the Slimy Crud??????

I knew you would chyme in.
Todd, you think the 12.5" Wild One Chubbys are gonna be a stretch for the clutch hose?

You will be just fine with 8" NAMZ extensions. You will have to free up slack in the hyd lines at the right side of the neck just forward of the tank and cut the zip ties at the triples under the faring. You may have to reroute, but no need to disconnect the lines.... remove the lever and fish them around if needed.. it works... we put 14" on JonP's 14SGS with just NAMZ....

BTW... once you have bitten by a SHARK, it can be an expensive cure to fix it... LOL!!!

Thanks, Bro.
I was all over that '16 RGU. The '15 UL just had a lot of incentives attached and it became a $3k difference. Loved the ride though.

Either way... you made a great choice.... CONGRATS again!

From what you saw do you think in time there will be rubbing or hose wear issues from being rerouted or stretched from turning the forks?
