Best thing to do is take the clamp that came with the lift off and replace with a better wheel chock. Harbor freight has a decent one roll on that I bolted onto my lift.
I definitely wouldn't trust that wheel chock on a touring bike. I have the same lift and the first thing I did was ditch the wheel chock and replaced it with a better one.
