Morning all!

Just made the jump from my road star warrior, to the new 2013 street glide. Love the bike so far, ....really? whats not to love.....cept I already need to lower it....I can barley get my feet flat on the ground when on the oem seat, and when I put my sundowner on for the wifey, I an then on my tippy toes.....so....

this will be the first order of business here for me, to learn from you who have done this.....

Welcome, some seats and shocks will lower you. I have a Lepera solo seat and it took me down 1". Check them out !

contacted a local upholstery/trim shop...gonna look at the possibility of "shaving" the seat in the drivers sitting position...did this on my Warrior, always worked well to drop me down....

I had same problem... I went with the Reduced Reach Seat.. took me down 1" and about 2" closer to the bars. Made a world of difference. We did the demo from local Harley shop for 48hrs & wife said "You need this seat"!!

Welcome from Massachusetts. I went w/ a Mustang seat initially but later went with a H-D Reach seat. I liked the Day Tripper for short rides but for long rides. I found that I was sitting much further back in this seat.
