purchasing SG new fairing vs old?

My 2009 Street Glide has the T-Bags with the 3 pockets and works great! Starting to see some cracking where it bends to open and was told putting some vinyl dressing on it for future would help it last longer.
So I will be looking to replace in near future but probably will stick with this product since it is half the price of the HD windshield bag.

i'm 6'3' and have the tallboy seat along with a great Long Ride Shield .. 8" I think. The recurve really works nice and throws the air up and over me at any speed. My glasses were bouncing on my nose with the stock windscreen .. made it hard to see anything.
