Recovering from surgery...

Geez, didn't know this was coming. How the hell ya get so tore up in the first place?
At least up here it would be the end of the riding season.
Wishing for you a fast and full recovery with no lingering garbage on the tail end.
On the up side........for me........more time for you to answer all my mod questions. Hahahaha!

I'm always here to help, but you already know that...lol!!!

And yeah... I sure hope recovery goes well with no issues. So far, I can tell you I feel great and not loading up on meds either... that's a great sign.

Glad you are sticking around Spazz, and I'd hang out/ride with you any day......and you're right I'd bring beer over and let you watch me go up/down the street a few times just to rub it in, then sit down and have a couple cold ones and have a good laugh. Speedy recovery so you can get back on 2 wheels.

Well.. going under the knife on the same knee for the 4th time.... I thought they would replace it.. NOPE!!! Too young at 47 and too active.. go figure

Hey Spazz. A buddy of mine was in the hospital for a lengthy stay following a car wreck. We constantly snuck beers into his room. One day the head nurse started raising hell with us because she said every time we left she spent all her time bringing him a bed pan. The moral to the story, before a bunch of the guys start bringing beer, put a trash can next to your bed. Get Well soon. See if there is a way to bring the bike into the room with you. It should be good for morale.

You might be better off not using the VA. Hard to say these days. I do not need them myself but I go once a year for a "keep your benefits active" check up.

Its funny how opinions vary from doctor to doctor. I am also 47 and my doc said there is nothing else they can do except replace it. I have had 5 surgeries, every shot known to man and even tried that PRP. Nothing works.

I hope this one works out for you bro. I feel your pain

Update!!!

Update!!!

DAY 10... yesterday

stitches removed and they took my brace. I have over 100 degrees of flexion and NO PAIN AT ALL!

Sucky part... I still can't walk on it at all ( no weight-bearing ) until after 17 Nov...

Oh... and for the faint of heart.... This is a pic of the tip of my left femur bone... it's supposed to be smooth like a hard-boiled egg ( like the surrounding white areas ) ... not look like the moon with huge crators in it... LOL

And yes....

I AM GOING NUTZ!!!!
