Any recommendations for cam that will give me good power on my 117? I have to use Harley parts so that I do not void the warranty. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
To keep your warranty intact, the only option that I see for you is the 447 torque cam. With changing the cam you'll also need a new air filter and at least some slip-ons.Figured you were from Michigan. So am I. I do most of my driving here in Michigan. Mostly highway driving. Looking for a cam that will help with performance and sound good also.

Woods 22XE or Star Racing 30/30It's always great to connect with someone from the same state.
How many miles are on your bike? Which dynojet product do you have? The Wood's 22xe or xd and the Star 30/30 would be the choices for me....a year later, Im new so forgive me. Im only posting because I am also a Michigander, though I escaped a while back... Im getting ready to venture into the world of "upgrading" my 2020 SG Special. Ive already got a nice breather (Zombie Breath by Tab Performance) on it as well as some pretty sweet slip-ons (50 Cal w/ Zombie Baffles also by Tab) but Im thinking the cam situation is next. All my research points to the Woods 22X, Zipper 468, S&S 485 or 475, or Feuling 465, or something by Redline(?) which turned out to be more for racing so thats out...
Is there something that you like about any of those over others? Any I should absolutely avoid? Im generally riding solo (until she gets a helmet and a bit of courage) with a crew of mixed bikes, most a lot louder than mine due to their tunings. My bike has no issue carting my 150lb self around anywhere, but it does seem to be asking for something more...I figure something to round out the power curve as I mostly keep it under 60 on this island so some low end would be nice. Crossing the island requires a climb from sea level to about 6500 ft, give or take, and back down again. thats where the middle powere would be appreciated. Right around the 3k RPM mark. Though ive never really had any issues, I often wonder if the quick elevation change messes with the engine. Ive got a DynoJet that stays on the bike but Im afraid to go messing with it...
Anyway, sorry about the ramblin (told ya Im from Michigan lol), but Im just curious what others think about that "stage 2" area for Street Glides. Its like, I dont NEED the power, but I AM going to upgrade so if Im going to do it anyway, I may as well get the most bang for my bike...I mean buck. Why not make a sleeper beast?
